The book alone is great, but if you really want to dive into the material, I recommend you take the course on Coursera while you read it.

A well though out update on the First Edition. Should be a staple on any serious musician or Music Business Guru book shelf. A well written, concise book packed with information.
It gives very clear information on the complexities and evolution of the deals in music businness, and his experience and knowledge of the subject awakens us for the fundamental legalities that we must look upon if we want a serious envolment in the music business. Im reading it for the third time.
