I got this for my grandsons 7th birthday. He looked over his books, chose this one, his mother sent me a picture. He had fallen asleep on the way home from the party, this book on his lap. A beautiful hardcover book. I got this as a gift for my nephew, who is really into sharks. Very well-made book with lots of information in it. Awesome photos and very colorful too! Highly recommend!
This is a rotated book we read every other night. My daughter loves it. Pictures are great and colorful and bright. The facts and info that the give are really wonderful too. I actually became a little intrigued by the Goblin shark that they talk about in here and it's unreal mouth that can detach to snatch up its prey....very cool.
I am happy with this book's quality, but specially, my son is HAPPY with this book, He loves it!!! That makes me happy, it is more than a book for him... He opens his eyes with astonishment and details each photo and text that reads in them.
We have to read this to my three year old son every night before bed. He loves the pictures and is learning the different types of sharks

My 4-year-old loves this book. We don't read everything on every page, but can go through this book over and over again and read the parts that he inquires about as a perfect bedtime routine.
