Many of the topics or questions I have or had have been answered by an informative and concise book of information about the product. Quick and easy to use.

I dislike for me imposible to do nothing, very litlle the graphic like the other book to much information in few space. Be better is clear graphic and step by step...diiferent versions of Microsoft Office and impossible to follow the instruction...sorry but is a big mistake,,,the book design

I have no use for this book as it illustrates Word, Xcel and Power point 2016, not used in the Office 365 installed on my computer.

I love this book! My little one is one month old now but we started using it with her a few weeks ago. It's great because it's so easy to set up by a blanket for tummy time. She's totally engaged looking at it and I like how it is long enough to make an entire arc around her head, so wherever she looks she has something to focus on. It's also great that it's two sided (one side is black with white pictures and the other side is white with black pictures) because if it seems like she's bored we just turn it around!

This totally attracts the attention of my 1-month-old daughter. I buy this as part of the gift for most baby showers I attend, and o finally bought one for my second child. Love it. My first child was really into all the high contrast books we bought, but I really like how you can set this one up to use during tummy time... or just floor time.

Best purchase for newborn! They need tummy time quiet early if you follow the guidelines, and this book is nice for displaying on the baby's side when laying on back (because at first they can't hold their head on the centerline) or in front of them when doing tummy time. The graphics are well-chosen (baby bottle, keys hanging, butterfly, etc...) and you have mostly black pattern on one side, and mostly white pattern on the other. My newborn has made great use of it, even now at 2 months. He liked the mostly white side/pattern the most for some reason. Finally, the book is very sturdy, and has a velcro to close. I would offer it to a friend if I could!

This book was really great! I am a Parent Educator so I was really impressed at this book. It fits one of the lessons that we do at 2 months old with making a black and white picture accordion. This is exactly that! It has great pictures and provides white on black as well as black on white. I can just lay my little one down for tummy time and spread this accordion book out so that he gets some cognitive stimulation while working on gross motor skills. The only thing that I would change would be possibly putting on the name of the picture that was on the page for later word recognition.

This was sort of an impulse buy for my newborn after seeing a friend who had one, but I must say my 2 month old loves tummy time much more when I set this book out in front of her! She will stare at the pictures and coo until her neck gets tired, rather than getting bored like before.

I love this book. But I bought this book and the ‘White in Black’ by the same author’. I did not realize that the white on black pictures from this book would be exactly the same as from the White on Black book. That was a disappointment.

This is such a great accordion book! The black and white illustrations are simple, yet very appealing to a young baby. I used this to help my son enjoy tummy time more. Because it is an accordion book, it will easily stand up on its own, so I would stand it up right in front of my son. His focus on the book helped him keep his head up a lot longer, without complaint, unlike his tummy time without the book. I highly recommend this book!

Before I had my baby I may have rolled my eyes are buying something like this but seeing them go through a developmental leap you recognize how helpful this book can be. My baby is 8 weeks and loves staring at this book and taking in the patterns. It’s a good value for the price and I like that it stands up on its own for me to place next to her.

About the Author

Acclaimed biographer, Jean Fritz, was born in China to American missionaries on November 16, 1915. Living there until she was almost thirteen sparked a lifelong interest in American history.  She wrote about her childhood in China in Homesick, My Own Story, a Newbery Honor Book and winner of the National Book Award.      Ms. Fritz was the author of forty-five books for children and young people. Many center on historical American figures, gaining her a reputation as the premier author of biographies for children and young people.      Among the other prestigious awards Ms. Fritz has garnered are: the National Humanities Medal, the Laura Ingalls Wilder Award, the May Hill Arbuthnot Lecture Award. the Christopher Award, the Boston Globe-Horn Book Non-Fiction Award, a New York Times Notable Book of the Year, and many ALA Notable Books of the Year, School Library Journal Best Books of the Year, and ALA Booklist Editors’ Choice Awards.      She passed away on May 14, 2017.

This book is an introductory must-read for anyone considering living in Belize. It covered all territories and gave an honest account of how safe or unsafe certain areas are. I consider it my go-to reference. There is a plethora of information on the benefits and rules associated with each type of residency status. One other reviewer had complained about there not being enough maps, but I must have a later edition as I found very helpful maps. If one needs more detailed maps, they can be purchased from another source - the included maps were more for reference than deep detail.

Belize is a fascinating community but not for the faint at heart. If you like adventure but you are a cautious value driven investor you will appreciate the pros and cons Lan Sluder displays in this very accurate book. Dual citizen since 2002; I have done well with calculated risk and reward and happy to advise others regarding all thing Belize real estate.People that love Belize usually visit several times, falling deeper in love before they are convinced of all the benefits.

Excellent, eye opening book about living in Belize. Some of the other books/websites you look at if you are seriously looking at retiring overseas, paint Belize as a trouble-free, tropical paradise. Sluder's book will give you a look at the rest of the story. The prevelance of property crimes (breaking and enterings, thefts...) is honestly presented. The book gives you a breakdown in a "report card" format of the desirability of various areas in the country, so a potential resident can make an informed decision. If you are thinking of a Caribean retirement destination where you don't have to learn a new language, get this book. It presents the good, the bad, and the ugly of Belize.

Not only is this a very informative book for those considering a move to Belize, but it has an added bonus. The bonus is that the author is gracious enough to respond to additional questions via email, and does so within 24 hours.I've tried not to overstay my welcome, but the author, Lan Sluder continues to make me feel right at home when I pester him with 'just one more question.' I feel like Detective Columbo with all of the questions that I've posed to him.There's a ton of information in this book and after reading it, you'll definitely know whether or not a move to Belize is right for you. Lan Sluder is an excellent writer, and as mentioned above, is also a very gracious person.

Very authoritative and concise explanation of life in Belize. I enjoyed reading this book immensely.I have one suggestion for improvement on this book. The author uses a grading scale to rate various aspects of Belize. A for this, B- for that, etc.I think that approach is too precise. It's hard to distinguish a B-, for example, from a B or a C+ when everything to a typical reader is brand new. I can distinguish a B from a C more easily. I hope that makes sense.

This book is awesome! It gives so much information and is very easy to follow. I'm contemplating a move to Belize and there is so much in this book that I haven't even thought about until I read it. I've reread parts of it numerous times and shared a lot of the info with my wife. The author knows his stuff!

This book was written by someone who is familar with Belize, and provides you with the truth as to what you will encounter when you arrive, not some rosy sales pitch. A very useful tool for anyone contemplating somewhere to live during the winter or as an escape from their country of citizenship. I recommend you read this book.

great info, easy read. nice to pass around to friends who are thinking of leaving here to retire. I decided NOT to move to Belize because of the BOT flies which when they bite you lay larvae under your SKIN, also because they require retirees to deposit $25,000 in their bank every YEAR for 5 years before you can apply to be a citizen, it didn't say if YOU get to use the money or it becomes Belize's, watch amazon's awesome video series called "Mad Dogs", its filmed in Belize, after seeing that I already didn't want to retire there.Yes it's beautiful and low real estate prices, but most of the areas are very poor and the buildings, streets etc aren't maintained also there is high crime. This book helped me in my decision NOT to retire to Belize and for that it's worth 4 stars.

Why did you write this book on dictations and coding in oral and maxillofacial surgery?The dictated operative note is essential for the practice of oral and maxillofacial surgery. Unfortunately, the evidence indicates that the quality of dictated operative reports is poor. Important information is often omitted, In support of this was one study which showed that only 46% of items deemed important in the operative dictation were actually present in these documents (Edhemovic). This book was written to help readers dictate high quality operative notes.Why do we have so much difficulty in this area?Surveys have shown that few residency programs offer formal instruction on the content, structure, or importance of the operative report. Thus, residents leave their training programs to enter practice feeling inadequately prepared in this critical area.Why is there a relative lack of training in operative note documentation?In my conversations with program directors, I have learned that operative note documentation is an educational priority. The challenge for program directors is how to incorporate this education into the residency curriculum. By the time residents graduate, they must acquire a large body of knowledge and master many skills. It can be difficult to find time during conferences and didactics for instruction in operative note documentation. Even when it takes place, the amount of time devoted to it may not allow residents to become comfortable and confident.What can happen if residents leave their training inadequately prepared to dictate clear and complete operative notes?Knowledge gaps in this area have important consequences for practitioners. The operative dictation is an important medico-legal document, and therefore it must be clear and complete.Among the other consequences is reduced reimbursement or even denied claims for services provided when notes lack adequate descriptions and appropriate terminology. In one study of operative notes completed by residents, that authors wrote that nearly 30% of charges "would have been missed, delayed, or denied if the resident-dictated note was used to justify charges." (Novitsky). A more recent study evaluating the accuracy and completeness of coding in oral and maxillofacial surgery found that a "large proportion of operations were not assigned all the relevant codes." The authors concluded that "even small errors can have huge financial repercussions." (Khurram)Most surgeons don't realize the importance of properly dictating and coding an operative report until after residency when they've performed a substantial amount work and fail to receive reimbursement. With increasing scrutiny of medical records by payers, it is more important than ever for the operative note to succinctly and clearly describe what was done to justify the codes that are submitted and maximize the chances of full reimbursement. How can oral and maxillofacial surgeons use this resource to improve patient care and maximize reimbursement?Dictations and Coding in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery was developed to be a resource for residents, surgeons, office staff, and billing and coding specialists to enhance coding and operative dictation accuracy.Numerous procedures are found within each of the book's ten sections, and include indications, complications, key steps and a coded operative dictation template for individual procedures.
